Beyoncé is currently gearing up for the release of her country-themed album Renaissance Act II, so it’s a better time than ever to look back on some of her amazing achievements. Take a walk down memory lane as we look at some major Grammy records that Queen B managed to break over the years.
Most Grammy Wins
With 32 golden gramophones under her belt, Beyoncé is the most awarded artist in the history of the Grammy Awards. She won three awards as part of Destiny’s Child and one more as part of The Carters, and it’s safe to assume this number will rise in the future.
Most Grammys By a Female Artist
Beyoncé also has the most wins among female artists, and Alison Krauss of Union Station joins her as the only female performer with over 20 Grammy Awards.
Most Grammy Nods
With 88 nominations, Beyoncé shares the record for the most nominated artist in Grammy history with her husband Jay-Z.
Single Night Wins By a Female Artist
Beyoncé took home six Grammys in 2010, setting the record for most wins by a female artist in a single night, which was later tied by Adele in 2012.
Consecutive Album Wins
Beyoncé is the only artist to win eight consecutive Grammy awards for eight consecutive studio albums, including The Carter’s Everything Is Love. Despite achieving this historic milestone, she never received the coveted Album of the Year Grammy.
